PayPal blocking donations, switching to Skrill soon…
With great dissappointment, I have to tell you that our PayPal account has been blocked from further use… Permanently…
This means that we are unable to pay for any openstanding payments concerning the servers and other works we need to pay for.
We found a alternative, but it’s sadly completely empty, and unverified at the moment.
The verification would take possibly a maximum of 2 weeks, but it’s really annoying, as our payments won’t get through anymore.
This means, we are completely cut-off from the money we still got on it, and as PayPal stated, we cannot receive the money until after 180 days…
Monday I will try to convince them to enable it again, but knowing PayPal, this will be a no-go, and dadesu also agreed on this issue.
So, for people that wish to help us out with donations for the upcoming monthly payments for atleast the servers, please contact me ( [email protected] ), and I will give you a alternative to send money to.
We will also try to open a way to donate via creditcard, but as I said, we need to wait for the verification to be cleared.
Anyway, just wanted to warn people who wished to donate, to not do this to PayPal anymore !
If people have tips of also GOOD alternative payment processing sites, which allow for example also prepaid cards to be accepted (which you could buy in stores anonymously), would be much appreciated :)
Kind regards, your server admin.
Paypal has been contacting me, and I posted their email, and the 2 reponses I have emailed them back.
Strangely, they focus on Subdesu.org, which is a non-hentai website (as you all know sofar), and only contains maximum Ecchi anime.
Read it, and laugh your ass off, cause these guys have no idea what they are talking about:
Received from PayPal, Mr. Daniel:
Thank you for contacting PayPal with regards the limitation on your account.
Due to the violation of our Mature Audience policy Mr. Power2All with regards to allowing downloads of hentai material from your website, a permanent limitation was issued to your account on the 01st of August 2008.
This means that you will not be able to appeal this limitation and we now consider the matter closed. If you have any questions, please contact the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy Department at [email protected]

2008… Dafuq ? Are they pulling old data from the past into this conversation ?… 1st email send to Mr. Daniel:
Dear mr. Daniel,
I don’t consider this closed.
SubDesu.org provides limited ecchi (this is not the same as Hentai, as you seem to be pointing out) and anime releases.
Hentai is on a whole different level, and if you are known with the Japanese anime scene, you would know that Ecchi is within the limitations of your agreement and acceptable use of policy.
So please, mr. Daniel, clarify the wordt “Hentai” as you have described, which the release on SubDesu are not in fact, “hentai”.
For your information, here detailed information what “ecchi” really means:
Here a passage:
“The word is not only common in Japan, it is also used worldwide inside the fandom of Japanese media to describe sexual themes or undertones. While the word ecchi could mean anything from mild to insulting in Japanese language, it is used in Western culture to divide between pornography (hentai) and playful usage of sexualized imagery (ecchi). Works considered as ecchi do not show any sexual intercourse or primary sexual characteristics. Instead, it is up to the imagination of the viewer. Inside such media, it often goes along with fan service in a humorous way. These kinds of sexual themes or undertones can usually be found in comedic Shōnen/Seinen manga and harem anime.”
May I also note, that you have actually fixed a paypal account of someone who does offer hentai, so are you handling 2 standards here or are you just making a mistake with the fact that you have no clue what your talking about ?
Please clarify this wrongly assumed intention as marking a non-hentai website, as hentai….
2nd email send to Mr. Daniel, since I forgot to tell something more:
Dear mr. Daniel,
I regret to forget to add something to my last post as well.
The fact you claim that we offer donation options of PayPal “On” our website, is also a wrong conclusion.
If you click on our donation system, you will be asked to fill in a form, and you will not be taken to PayPal to do the payment, neither does it say ANYWHERE that we deal with PayPal.
We email the user back with information how they could manually transfer money to use.
So, to conclude, we don’t advertise with PayPal, and it’s nowhere to be found on our website that we use PayPal.
Therefor, we don’t have to follow the AUP or clausule of your agreement, as we don’t openly deal with PayPal on our website, only via a external way, which, also is manually transfered.
There for, I would like to see that you reinstate my account, so that I can pay for my server costs, which I am unable to do now with this account closure.
If you want SubDesu not to use your services anymore in the near future, that wouldn’t be a problem as we are searching alternatives, which we indeed found.
But this all also depends how cooperative you are to solve this matter of problems.
Right now, your blocking us from paying the needed costs for our servers, and denying the right to receive donations, without violating your Agreement and Terms.
Well, they went from the original reason (subdesu.org being a hentai site), to my personal account, which got blocked wayyyy back years ago.
Since I didn’t bother to fight PayPal back in the past, they now closing the account because I made a 2nd account.
So PayPal’s strategic action is, first try close it down on a suspicion of something, and if that doesn’t work, lets dig in the past of the user, and take him down with something he wouldn’t possibly be able to fight back again.
PayPal disgusts me right now, as they make of a problem years ago, a whole new issue, which wasn’t a issue at all, as they claimed the same back then, but then about AniRena.
I had that fixed, but still PayPal didn’t want to budge, so yeah, there you have it.
PayPal doesn’t give one shit about your money, or let stand choosing what you want to do with it.
Receiving donations is not a crime neither, but PayPal make it sound like we selling a product, when the only reason the money is received, is to pay for our servers to host our websites on, which isn’t so much in giving a user a product, but purely for SubDESU to host it’s stuff on.
Here is the email conversations I received and emailed, use this post as a reminder how fucked up PayPal handles it’s users, and I would suggest, people to switch and try out Skrill.com as we will try it too:
This was the first email we received when the account got blocked (Brand Risc emailed it, but we don’t provide info about PayPal on our websites…?):
We have recently reviewed your PayPal account activity, and determined that you are in violation of PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy regarding your sales / offers on http://www.subdesu.org.

Ok… So they think SubDESU.org is providing hentai material, which is not the case… Easy to fix I guess…
After the Update 1 correspondention, I received the following, showing that they we’re indeed wrong, but now they take the history of me accountable:
To help protect our customers’ accounts, we routinely review account activity. It appears from our review that you have more than one account, one of which has engaged in activity that violates our User Agreement.
As a result, we’ve restricted your accounts. You’ll still be able to log in to view your transaction history, but you won’t be able to send or receive money.
What happens next
As allowed under the User Agreement, we’ll hold the money in your account for 45 days. We may use your balance to reimburse buyers who file claims, chargebacks or any other reversals against you. Before we reimburse the buyer, in most cases, you’ll have a chance to respond.
We’ll send you an email after 45 days letting you know when you can withdraw money from your accounts.
What to do if you think this is a mistake
If you think this decision has been made in error, you can appeal. To do this, please visit the Help Center and click Contact Us.
When you contact us, please have the following documents ready:
1. Your passport, driver’s license, or another form of ID, issued by the Government
2. Recent utility bill
3. Business registration number or proof of company registration (if your account is in the name of a company).
And in this remarks, I will hate the fuck out of PayPal and will never use it, neither advice it to be used.
If they cannot take you down on the original reason, they will just throw with old stuff that should have been fixed in the first place.
PayPal neglects to check deeper into the reason “why” this person made a 2nd account in the first place.
They just go with the fact I did something, ehh, criminal ?
When it was only about receiving donations from a site that did had hentai releases on it, and got limited after the first contact with PayPal, but PayPal didn’t want to solve the problem, and just abruptly closes accounts, unable to fight back or atleast fix the problem, so the user would follow the user agreement of PayPal again.
Also, remind you, that PayPal doesn’t allow you to receive donations if you deal with mature content, but a couple of Hentai distribution sites got their accounts repaired and working again on PayPal, they will and always work with double standards….
So for my last response to PayPal on this website:
